"Home Away From Home"
Short documentary film

This documentary traces both the quiet and dynamic rhythms of Resun Hotel, where nature and humans intertwine. As dawn breaks over the surrounding landscape, signs of human presence emerge leading us to Mr. Xu and Mrs. Bao, the visionary yet down-to-earth couple who built Resun with the warmth and care of a true home. We follow them throughout the day as they let us into the hotel and into their lives.

"Home Away From Home" is my short documentary film created as part of the Looking China Youth Film Project. It was shot in Yixing, China in April of 2025.
